Albuquerque Area Boy and Cub Scouts

Do Good Turn For Roadrunner Food Bank

 

Albuquerque, NM - January 31, 2007

 

What:

Roadrunner Food Bank and the Great Southwest Council, Boy Scouts of America have teamed up to feed New Mexico’s hungry.  From February 3-10, 2007, thousands of Albuquerque area Boy and Cub scouts will participate in this year's “Scouting for Food”.

When:

Saturday February 3, 2007 -- Scouts will deliver plastic bags to area homes, requesting that the bags be left at their door filled with food. 

Saturday February 10, 2007 -- Scouts will visit the same neighborhoods picking up food left at the door.  All the food collected at homes will be delivered to one site and loaded onto a Roadrunner Food Bank truck. The location is the Latter Day Saints Stake House on 7 Bar loop on the corner of Ellison and Golf Course Road.  

Saturday February 10, 2007 -- Scouts will be collecting food at the following area retailers:
