JULY 2007

Summer is going by so fast!  We are now in the middle of the summer school break with children going back to the classroom five weeks from now.

Thanks to your generosity during May and June, many children and their families, approximately 35,000 people per week, have been able to enjoy the school break. Our cooler is filled with cabbage, tomatoes, onions, melons and more! Our partner agencies and regional food banks have a variety of produce, meats and products to offer hungry New Mexicans.

Please help us continue to reach even more in need during the next few weeks as children still await the start of school and the free feeding programs.

This e-newsletter highlights our activities during Hunger Awareness Day. Thank you to everyone who made each of our events so successful!

Regards,

Melody
