What is Service Insights?

Service Insights is a national effort among Feeding America food bank partners to gather data and information about the neighbors we serve.

This information tells the story of who is accessing your agency.

When we understand who we serve, we can deepen our efforts to improve our services and meet their needs.

Telling our neighbors’ stories begins with you!

Data you already collect like name, address, and household information are all data pieces that, when put together, tell the stories of those accessing our services. From those stories, we can better understand who we are serving and work to better meet their needs.

You start by using the Service Insights neighbor intake platform.

This user-friendly platform is a website you log into to register each person you serve. You only have to register them once! Their file is assigned a unique ID and stored in the system. When they return for services, recording their visit is simple. Of course, you may update any changes to their file as needed. We will show you how!

Why Service Insights?

Service Insights is FREE to use!

There is no charge to use the software and we have technology grants available to get you the equipment you need to get started.

Data is private and secure!

Only approved users can log in, so you control which staff and volunteers can get into the system.

Roadrunner Food Bank will only access your data for reporting purposes and will never sell or distribute that data to any organization outside the food bank.

Our staff will train you every step of the way!

We will help you learn the basics, support you through implementation, and answer all your questions when you go live.

Once you are up and running, we will stay in contact to help with any problems that may arise.
